Short company profile Advalytix (headquartered in Advalytix is Beckman Coulter’s world wide competence
centre for cell-based molecular biology. We focus on single cell molecular
diagnostics, and the miniaturisation of diagnostic

Integrated solutions for single cell molecular
analysis We at the Advalytix team believe that single cell
molecular analysis should not be unreliable and cumbersome. Single cell
analysis should be Simple, Seamless, and Sensitive ®, a concept that we call Zellvergnügen® (German for the “pleasure of cells”). We have
developed workflows
to guide researchers through single cell analysis, no matter whether single
cells are captured via flow sorting, micromanipulation, or laser capture microscopy,
or whether downstream analysis involves qPCR, PAGE, CE, or sequencing. Our amazingly simple and sensitive single cell
capabilities hinge upon the: AmpliGrid
glass slide a superior amplification platform for ultra low
volume applications in the 1µL range, based on a chemically structured
microscope slide, and the AmpliSpeed slide cyler, an ultra-compact instrument specifically designed
for performing thermal cycling reactions on glass slides. Our customers need to analyze single cells because they investigate
genetic heterogeneity, or they simply have very few cells available. For each
application area, such as flow
sorting, immunology,
forensics,
or quantitative
PCR we have developed a vast pool of application reports, detailed protocols, accessories and reagents. |
